Introduction

This document describes the functionality of the Item Repeater and illustrates the detailed steps of its usage.

Overview

The Item Repeater is a widget for organizing and displaying the Items or Ecommerce Products on a single page as a Collection or Product List. The items included in a collection or product list appear on the page with the same layout and design but different content.

How to Use the Item Repeater

Switch to the Visual Editor from the Dashboard Left Panel and take the following steps:

1. Access the required page through the Page: Homepage button on the Top Bar.

   

2. Access the Advanced group of widgets from the Left Panel to drag and drop the Item Repeater into the Layout Canvas.

   

   By default, the Item Repeater appears with 3 Columns and 1 Row. You can customize the Item Repeater layout as required through the Layout Settings active on the Right Panel.

3. Arrange the required structure and design for the Item Repeater and the widgets inside it using the Item Repeater Styles and Settings.
   To activate the Property Panel with the Styles and Settings sections, click the Item Repeater while holding the Ctrl key down or use the Arrow at the upper left corner of the Property Panel.

   

   The Styles section comprises several stylistic features:

   • Layout - a style feature specific to the Item Repeater widget.

   • Global Styles - the group of all the other available features typical to all the widgets.
     Use the Layout feature to modify the number of Columns (min:1, max:12, default:3) and Rows (min:1, max:6, default:1) as well as the Gap Size (min:0, max:100, default:15).

     The Settings section includes:

   • None - displays the complete list of all the existing products or items on the page.

   • Load More - adds a button on the page to show more items.

   • Pagination - inserts pagination for the product or item list.

   • Title - displays the product list or collection title on the page.

   • Visibility - adjust it by selecting/entering the browsers and operating systems for displaying the widget.

     

4. Click the Publish button.
   After publishing, the message "Changes are successfully published." appears on the screen.
   After designing the Item Repeater layout and structure, access the required widgets under the appropriate groups, then drag and drop them into the Item Repeater to display on the page.
